Monday, Sept. 28 - District Marching Festival

Please take a look at the document linked above. We will not be in our traditional location for this event (be sure and reference the maps provided). 

We will start on the field performing the National Anthem in Concert Arcs, then we will reset and take the field from the back with our Preshow track. 

Make sure you plan appropriate sustenance for the evening! Marching is a tax on the body, please make sure to nourish and take care of yourself accordingly! 

Reminder: we do not eat in Uniform!

3:30 pm - Load Trailer and Box Truck

4:00 pm - Acquire instruments and all parts of uniform

4:30 pm - Load Buses

4:45 pm - Depart SMN

5:15 pm - Arrive Onsite

5:30 pm - Unload trailer and Box Truck

6:00 pm - Get into Uniform

6:35 pm - All students staged and ready to take the field 

6:40 pm - Move FE equipment into place 

6:50 pm - Take the Field in Concert Arcs 

7:00 pm - Field Show Performance

After Performance - Tap off the field to the South, take our place in the stands, respectfully watch and support our fellow SMSD Schools!

Timeline is created to allow for plenty of time for flexibility should the need arise. “To be early is to be on time!”

This is an "All Hands on Deck" kind of Day! The Band Boosters have been working diligently on creating a positive experience for ELEVEN bands! That's almost double last year!

4:00 pm - Pizza in the Band Room

4:45 pm - Load busses and Trailer

5:00 pm - Depart SMN

7:30 pm - Performance

11:00 pm - Return to SMN
